Following allegations that a 13-year-old girl danced nude at Club Madonna, the city of Miami Beach is yanking the operating license for the strip club.
The club is being shut down for six months as the city conducts an investigation.
Three people were arrested in the case, accused of forcing the teenage runaway as a prostitute and a nude dancer.
The city of Miami Beach releasing an official statement regarding the situation:
"Based on the gravity of recent allegations, the evidence collected and the owner’s admitted failure to have the required knowledge of what illegal activity occurs at Club Madonna, I have determined that this activity presents an actual threat to the public health, welfare and safety of the public,” said Miami Beach City Manager Jimmy L. Morales.
Meanwhile, bond is being denied for one of the defendants in the case...
The female defendant, along with two men, is charged with human trafficking along with other charges after cops say they forced a 13-year-old girl to prostitute herself and dance at Club Madonna.
